Miss You Already Film Review

Hey! Today I’ve got something a little different for you, a film review! ‘Miss You Already’ recently came out on DVD and it’s one of the best films I’ve seen so far this year. It is a British film and stars Toni Collette (Milly) and Drew Barrymore (Jess) It is very tear-jerking but also comical ❤

‘When life falls apart, friends keep it together’

The basic storyline is that Milly and Jess have been best friends since they were kids and they have shared everything together. However, their friendship is put to the test when one tries to start a family and the other falls ill with cancer.

Milly gets breast cancer and just as she endures the ordeal of chemotherapy and a double mastectomy, Jess begins drug treatment for IVF. These struggles prove how important their friendship is and how they support each other.

Obviously I’m not going to spoil the ending, but all I can say is that it made me laugh and it made me cry. It is such a beautiful story that really puts a message out there about friendship and love. I personally would give this film a 9/10 ❤

Thank you so much for reading! ❤

My Easter Weekend Away

Hey! Today I have my Easter Weekend away to tell you about. I went to a caravan park in Devon from Friday to Monday and I had a lovely time. When we got there we went for a walk around the park, found our caravan and then went to the club house in the evening 🙂

On Saturday, we went into Exmouth for a bit, but it rained so hard so we came back haha! Then we went into the indoor pool where there was slides and everything. We came back and I had the nicest hot cross bun! Then we got ready and went out for drinks in the evening.

As Sunday was our last day, we went swimming in the indoor pool again and spent a lot of time in the arcade. Got to love the 2p machines! The weather was a little better but I took all of these pictures on Friday as that was the nicest day. On Monday, we packed up and came home. It was a lovely little break away.

Thank you so much for reading! ❤

Mother’s Day Gift Ideas

Hey! As it is Mother’s Day tomorrow, I thought I would show you a few of things I have bought my Mum and hopefully give you a few last minute gift ideas! ❤

  • Flowers – I am going out today to buy my Mum some flowers for tomorrow. Its a simple and easy gift but adds a really lovely touch to the rest of her presents.
  • Chocolates – I bought some pink heart chocolates and a box of Guylian Shells for my Mum because they are her favourite!
  • Bracelet – A beautiful heart bracelet with ‘For my Lovely Mum’ written on the box. A really nice gift that looks pretty as well as being reasonably priced.
  • Candle – A lovely scented candle is always a nice gift, I got a Glade Blackberry scented one!
  • Notebook – Always a handy present and with ‘Mum always knows the right words to say’, I thought it was very appropriate.
  • DVD/CD – I also think a film or CD is a good gift idea and I got a DVD for my mum which I think she’ll love!

I hope you found this post helpful if you needed some last minute ideas!

My February Favourites

Hey! It’s March and I don’t know about you, but I feel that this year is going by so quickly! Even though it’s a little late I thought for today’s post I would show you my February Favourites. It was mainly makeup products that I was loving last month! ❤

  1. Rimmel Moisture Renew Lipstick in the shade Vintage PinkI absolutely love this lipstick. I wear it nearly everyday and it goes well with a more natural makeup look. The formula is amazing and I don’t need to use a gloss with it, however it isn’t matte. It lasts quite a long time and overall is a great drugstore lipstick!

2. Maybelline Lash Sensational Mascara – This mascara is amazing, it thickens and lengthens my lashes and lasts all day. I use it every single day and have not found a drugstore mascara that is as good as this, especially for the price.

3. Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer in the shade FairEveryone always raves about this concealer and after trying it for the first time this month, I really like it! It covers dark circles really well and after slightly blending, it matches my skin tone well too! It’s definitely a good concealer!

4. Real Techniques Powder Brush – I bought this during February but have to say I have used it every day since. It applies my powder well and no bristles come out. It is soft to the face and generally great quality. It therefore had to go in my February Favourites!

5. W7 ‘In The Nude, Natural Nudes’ Palette – In February I did a review on two of the W7 Palettes but this one is definitely my favourite. The colours are perfect for an everyday makeup look and the rose gold packaging makes it so pretty. I have used this palette a lot this month.

6. ‘Not all who wander are lost’ Notebook – I got this notebook for Christmas but the other day I found it under my bed and I absolutely love it! It is so cute and I love the quote on the front.

Thank you so much for reading!
