Anxiety is something we all experience from time to time. It’s common to feel tense, nervous and perhaps fearful at the thought of a stressful event or decision you’re facing – especially if it could have a big impact on your life. For example, sitting an exam or attending a job interview are understandable situations in which worries occur. However if your feelings of anxiety are very strong, last for a long time and you regularly experience unpleasant physical and psychological effects of anxiety or panic attacks, it could be a mental health problem/disorder.

On this page, I want to describe what anxiety is, the different types of anxiety disorders, the symptoms (both physical and psychological), the different treatments, where & how to get support and ways to relax short term.

I hope that you find this helpful and informative.
