WAYS TO REDUCE YOUR ANXIETY RIGHT NOW:

  1. Take a deep breath.
  2. Accept that you’re feeling anxious.
  3. Realise that you’re brain is playing tricks on you.
  4. Question your thoughts and challenge them, e.g ‘Is this worry realistic?’
  5. Use positive self-talk.
  6. Focus on right now.
  7. Distract yourself with a simple activity, e.g doodling or making a drink.
  8. Listen to music.
  9. Talk to someone you trust.
  10. Try breathing exercises.
